On 12 April in "Solyanka" club took place the concert-presentation of
the debut album "Strings Theory" by Moscow project Miusha. Bushwaka
(UK, The End)played his set as a guest DJ.
Miusha is not only female but also double-bottomed electronic music
- behind the thick wall of electronic drums and rasping of synthesizers
you can hear echoes of a ghostly and lonely orchestra producing
afterworld harmonies, creating freaky soundtrack of present-day
metropolises where night clubs stand side by side with conservatories
and human consciousness can mix the past, present and future.

Miusha merges subtle harmony with digit and sensation of limitless
space with the hard substance of electronic sounds making the listener
feel himself a speck in the space and a unique personality at the same
time.
Her first album was produced by St. Petersburg electro musician and
visionist Andrey Samsonov who used to work with Nick Cave, PJ Harvey and Mark Almond.
The mastering of the album was implemented on the famous London studio
The Exchange, the one where all the records by Bjork, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack,
Daft Punk and Chemical Brothers where tuned.
The album was released in Russia by Airobica Records. Internationally
it's represented by the British company Mute Song (UK).
"My music life drew on in two parallel realities: on the one hand -
among the traditions of classical music at the faculty of
composition at Gnesiny Academy, on the other - among the club culture
of trip-hop and deep house. I've been always impressed by Bjork,
Roisin Murphy and Lamb, - says Natasha, - but at the same time - under
the influence of Debussy and Ravel. I thought that it would be
exciting to mix the increasable beauty of harmonies of
impressionist composes with tech-house. This is how my first
compositions emerged and turn into the act Miusha afterwards".
